Rich in history and culture, Spain offers an abundance of beautiful cities to visit beyond Madrid and Barcelona. These include:
-Seville. Offering a diverse array of architecture, Seville features the largest gothic cathedral in Europe. Just next to the cathedral is the Giralda bell tower, a prime example of Islamic architecture.
-Granada. Known for its Moorish history, Granada is the home of the Alhambra, a palace and fortress constructed by the Nasrid dynasty. The city also features Baroque and Renaissance monuments scattered throughout the narrow streets, which are lined with tapas bars.
-Burgos. Also known for its architecture, Burgos attracts visitors to its grand cathedral, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Another architectural gem is Burgos Castle, the original structure of which dates back to the 9th century.
