The ICO industry has boomed this year and for the first time in the history of the conference, ICOs got their own breakout session.

The business, finance and legislation session delved into the policies surrounding the future of cryptocurrency in the govtech and fintech industries. Cyber Fund CEO, Marina Guryeva, discussed the benefits of cryptocurrency such as transparency, verifiability and availability. Developers came together to discuss the current breakthroughs and hurdles of the blockchain technology space. Those attending the ICO session got a special visit from TechCrunch editor, Mike Butcher. He touched on the practical uses of ICOs and the best way to run a token sale.

It has been the year of the ICO so far, with new ICOs being announced every day. ICOs allow companies to tokenize their goods and services. It creates an ecosystem for the cryptocurrency to flourish in and hopefully rise in value. The Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Kiev highlighted ICOs rising footprint within blockchain technology by hosting an event hall dedicated to ICOs. Ukraine, along with Singapore, Switzerland and Russia, are poised to become the most influential countries in the blockchain technology space. The Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Kiev confirmed the mounting interest and development of this technology.
