INT. LIVING ROOM. EVENING
Two men sit on a red couch watching tv and sipping scotch. Speaking that we can’t hear. One man, named MICK in his mid 30’s, strong, tall, gets up and pulls out a foot long knife. The other man, TONY, mid 20s, hops off the couch tripping backwards. His eyes look wide with fear. Mick continues to walk pointing the knife at Tony.
Tony pulls out a phone and starts dialing, and jabs his fingers frantic on the buttons. He looks back at Mick, his mouth making whimpering sounds.
Tony: Why?
(whisper shouts)
With an ear splitting crack, the knife plummets into the wall next to Tony’s head. Tony drops the phone with a clank. Tony falls to the floor feeling for the phone while not taking his eyes off Mick. Mick let’s out a roar. Tony dials the phone.
His leg bats like a hammer, as Mick pulls the knife out of the wall and falls off balance.
911 operator: “This is 911. Where is your emergency?”
Tony: “212 Fernando Heights., Riverbed.”
911 operator: “And what’s your emergency?”
Tony: “A man, a friend, if trying to stab me. He has a knife. Please come quickly”
(Tony says trembling)
Mick walks and stands over Tony.
911 operator: “Someone is coming, hold on just a little while longer,” the voice droned over the phone.
Tony: “I’m trying! Tell them to hurry up!”
911 operator: “They are on their way, try to stay calm and get outside if you can. .”
Tony: “Okay.”
