As you all quickly reminded me, it’s a little disingenuous for Senator McCain to say that he might vote no in the future when he could have voted no yesterday

All McCain did yesterday was allow debate to begin. He can still vote against whatever proposal is made when the actual program is submitted to a vote.

Congress will hold out for programs/bribes for their states, just as they did when the Democrats approved Obamacare.
