It does! Ok :)

Excellent. The two books which I’ve selected for your enjoyment are:

  • Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell (fifth edition)
  • Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt

I’ll send you an e-mail so that you have my contact details and you can reply with the address where you’d like the books delivered.

The first book is quite big, so I don’t anticipate that you’d read it cover to cover immediately. However, I think you’ll find it helpful in explaining different aspects of how economics impacts current topics (e.g., how companies and people agree on a suitable wage for a given job, why rent control is counter-productive (and generally benefits wealthy people)).

Both books are easy reading, so you won’t have to suffer reading through some very dry writing. I thought a lot about selecting The Road to Serfdom, but it’s not an easy read and I want you to enjoy reading the books as much as possible.

If you identify the two books which you’d like me to read, I’ll buy them and start reading them.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
