I understand now why you don’t like him. No problem with that. However, there’s an aspect about this which confuses me.

I’ve read any number of posts in which the writers say it’s wrong to be judgemental. I recall posts about people taking heroin while they’re pregnant, alcoholics who don’t take suitable care of their children, parents who waste their money while ignoring their children’s needs, etc. When commenters criticised these people, it’s very common to read replies along the lines of “don’t judge” or that being judgemental is wrong.

However, I also read people making judgements (e.g., Scott Adams is trash”) without any pushback about being judgemental. I’m struggling to understand when it’s ok to be judgemental and when it’s not.

Let me stress that I don’t have a problem with you disliking Adams. I dislike some people too (probably different writers than you :) ). I’m just curious about when it’s ok to judge others and when it’s not. Thanks.
