Reagan and Bush were both governors before they became presidents. There doesn’t appear to be any consistency regarding who qualifies as a great politician in this paragraph.

I’m also interested in your definition of a great politician if Obama qualifies as one. Given the dramatic loss of seats by the Democrats at federal and state levels since Obama was elected, why do you classify him as great?
