I hope that you don’t mind an unrelated question.

Given the cutbacks in so many newsrooms (print and broadcast), why did you get your degree in journalism? Please excuse me if this appears to be critical. I don’t intend to criticise your choice at all. As an old journalism graduate, I’m interested in why people are going into the field now, given the lack of opportunities which journalists are experiencing.
