Menachem Moscovitz, executive director of Mesivta of Las Vegas, spent 12 years as cantor at Congregation Ahavas Yisroel in Flushing, New York. The Torah Umesorah Principal’s Conference is a three day gathering of administrators, school and organization leaders, and philanthropists dedicated to resolving communal issues impacting the field of education. The annual midwinter conference has been scheduled to begin on January 20 and will include a presentation by keynote speaker Dr. David Pelcovitz, a clinical psychologist and lecturer for the Torah Umesorah (TU) Nefesh Chaya Mashgiach and Mechaneches training program. Points of emphasis at the midwinter conference will range from new paradigms for leadership to strategies for managing stress in and related to the school environment. Sessions will also support educational professionals in developing more effective mindsets for the workplace.
