Hey, great blog. I am interested in the choice of research source for the ‘PMS and vegetarianism’ section. Most research I’ve seen concludes that a diet high in fresh vegetables helps to eliminate excess oestrogen, which reduces PMS symptoms. There seem to be many other factors in this particular Australian study that might be the cause of higher rates of stress/ low mood, and therefore also ‘PMS symptoms’ in general e.g. the vegetarian women were more likely to be living in an urban setting. So, I guess I would suggest checking out some additional sources of information on this topic, rather than using just one study, with so many variables and no clear causal relationships, as the basis for these statements?
