Merlin Starter is the first native Launchpad on the Merlin Chain, dedicated to advancing the growth of native assets and the Bitcoin Layer 2 ecosystem. Our mission is to accelerate asset circulation and ensure a seamless flow of assets on the Merlin Chain, pioneering innovation in the crypto space.

Merlin Chain Staking Recap

As of the writing of this article, over 2.7 billion USDT worth of assets have been staked in the Merlin’s Seal staking process. This substantial achievement signifies the significant position and contribution of Merlin Chain within the Bitcoin ecosystem. The staked assets include general assets like BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, as well as unique assets such as RATS, MMSS, ORDI, SATS, Bitcoin Frogs, BRC420, Bitmap, and more. With the collective efforts of these communities, we believe that the Merlin Chain ecosystem will continue to thrive. Here, we also aim to bring additional value to contributors through airdrop activities on top of Merlin’s Seal.

What are Star Points in Merlin Starter?

Star Points serve as airdrop vouchers for Merlin Starter’s future tokens. These points can be exchanged for Merlin Starter tokens based on specific rules during token issuance. Merlin Starter may periodically organize platform activities based on these points, such as exchanging points for whitelist qualifications in certain Launchpad projects or, depending on discussions with project teams, even exchanging them for project tokens. We aim to maximize the benefits for Star Point holders.

Which Users Can Receive Airdrop Points?

Airdrop points are primarily obtained through platform Airdrop events and activities held on official and third-party media channels like Twitter, Telegram, Discord, etc. We currently feature two main official activities, and I will elaborate on the details of each.

Activity One: Incentives for Merlin Staking Holders

This activity, conducted in collaboration with Merlin Chain, aims to provide additional benefits to core contributors on Merlin Chain’s Merlin’s Seal staking. After users complete staking in Merlin’s Seal, a snapshot is taken at a certain time. Every staking user can claim additional point rewards here, resembling the rules of ReStaking but without the need for a secondary stake. To ensure the authenticity of the activity, Merlin Chain provides the main data source.

Users staking more assets in Merlin’s Seal can claim more points here. To ensure fair distribution and involve more users, we set an upper limit on staked assets beyond which no additional points will be airdropped. We employ a simple and effective gradient range to facilitate a smooth airdrop, and the specific gradient range is not described here to encourage user exploration in upcoming activities.

In practical operations, users first need to connect their wallets. After completing the connection, users can verify their wallets and check the actual airdrop quantity. After seeing their eligible airdrop points, users need to complete four tasks to unlock the points.

2.Follow Merlin Starter’s official Twitter account

3.Post a relevant tweet about Merlin Starter’s point activity

4.Join Merlin Starter’s official Telegram community

After completing the tasks, users can click the “Claim Your Stars” button to receive the airdrop points. In this activity, even users who haven’t staked in Merlin Chain’s Merlin’s Seal can receive a minimum guaranteed point as an active participation reward.

Activity Two: Completing Regular Tasks to Earn More

This ongoing activity aims to continually incentivize active users through point airdrops, attracting more attention to various aspects of Merlin Starter. The activity page includes three sub-tasks, each repeatable multiple times.

1.Retweet, like, and comment on the latest tweet

Users can interact with Merlin Starter’s official Twitter by engaging with the latest tweets. The system primarily detects interactions with the most recent tweet, and after a certain time delay, we will collectively airdrop points. These rewards may not be issued in real-time. If you experience delays, please wait for some time before checking your point balance. If the rewards haven’t arrived after three days, you can provide feedback via email or TG.

Alongside interactions with Merlin Starter’s recent tweets, users can also interact with past tweets, and we will randomly distribute point rewards to selected users.

2.Share a tweet daily and @MerlinStarter

Users are encouraged to share a tweet related to Merlin Starter daily and mention @MerlinStarter. We hope to see daily interactions from users on Twitter. Therefore, the first tweet each day will receive a certain airdrop point incentive. Users are welcome to interact more, share their opinions and suggestions about Merlin Starter, and the official Merlin Starter Twitter may select some high-quality interactions for retweeting.

3.Invite more friends to claim the airdrop

When users invite others, and the invited users successfully claim airdrop point incentives, the inviter will also receive a certain amount of airdrop points. Each user has a unique referral code, and we encourage users to include their referral code when sharing tweets. Inviting friends to participate in Merlin Starter’s point airdrop activities will bring more active users to join, increasing the visibility of our points and raising their value.

Other Star Point Acquisition Channels

Merlin Starter will conduct activities on official and third-party Twitter, Telegram, and DC channels to distribute points. We also hope to collaborate with more projects and KOLs, building the Merlin Chain ecosystem together and increasing awareness of Merlin Starter.
