As time passes, it’s very easy to become lost in the everyday busyness of life and forget what really matters most in life.

Here’s a little list of the THINGS we forget…

We forget our dreams. Literally. (Okay, no more puns from here on out…(was that a pun? I don’t even know. Anyway, moving on...))

We forget that family comes first. (Family got cho back, you got theirs. (Biology.))

We forget to be kind to everyone. (The world is a mirror. If you’re kind, the world will be kind to you. If you’re cold, the world will be cold to you. (Is it just me or is it getting hot out here?))

We forget that happiness doesn’t come from the outside, it comes from the inside. (It sickens me to know that our entire generation growing up with Instagram and Facebook doesn’t know this. (But yeah, happiness comes from within, not without. (why can I say within but not without? I applied simple logic, and without should work here…(“Seek not the good in external things; seek it in yourselves.”))))

We forget that life isn’t about the end goal, it’s about the journey. (If life were about the end goal, why do people watch movies, TV shows, Read books? Why don’t they just watch the last few minutes of the movie, show or read the last page of a book?)

We forget that money is a means, not an end — money doesn’t contribute much to our happiness or at all after basic necessities are met. (There are miserable millionaires, there are miserable hundredaires. (“Man is not worried by real problems so much as by his imagined anxieties about real problems”)

We forget that actions speak louder than words. (“Don’t explain your philosophy. Embody it.”)

We forget that if you’re not growing, you’re dying. (Look at a tree. You’ll understand what I mean.)

We forget about art. (Just look around. The world is a work of art.)

We forget that fears are an indication to attack. (“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.”)

We forget how to live in the present. (Close your eyes and take a very deep breath. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.)

We forget that life isn’t meant to be taken so seriously. (Life, in all it’s serousness is a pretty funny joke. I mean just look at us. We look weird as fuck. We have 4 limbs just poking out of our body. 2 Ears on the sides of our heads. Oh my.)

We forget that time is our greatest asset. (Time is all we are. Take away time, and everything is nothing.)

We forget about the curiosities we once had as children. (What does this do? What’s that? Wowwwwwwwwwwww.)

We forget that love is the language of life and all creatures speak it. (your dog when you come home.)

We forget to laugh. (Put on some hilarious cat videos on YouTube.)

We forget to cry. (Crying is powerful. Titanic FTW!)

We forget.

Sometimes all we need is a little post like this to remind us about all the things that really matter! :)

We forget to be grateful for this one life we were given on this dying planet.

I just killed a moth. It was flying in front of my laptop and I was trying to write this post. (5 mins later… body count +1. (Mosquito dead too.))

Please, God. Don’t punish me for killing that moth. (if you are real, and are reading this…(well, if you’re God, you wouldn’t read this because you know everything, right? (oh man, this is all so complicated, anyway, I wasn’t struck by lightning as I wrote these past sentences so I guess you don’t exist after all?!?)))

We forgot about God.

Well, I didn’t. Yet.

Oh, one more thing…

We forget to Clap.

That was pretty subtle… Right. ;)

That’s deserving….
