This post inspired me to try that. It wasn’t the first time that I had a cold shower, but this time it was different, because previously the broken boiler had made sure I had no other choice. This time, I had a choice.

The water at my home is so cold that even trying to simply wash my hands with the pure cold water, will cause my hands to go numb. So, to be fully honest, I had to turn the hot water tap ever so slightly to get the water temperature up. It was still very cold, and tough, but the heightened feeling that came afterwards was definitely worth it!
