Why are booth babes still a thing at (some) Tech events?

“Im not a booth babe. Ask me a question"

What is this supposed to mean.

“I’m not just a silly skinny blonde in high heels, I’m an engineer. I have an actual brain. I can use it.”

So you guys wear that type of message proudly on your chest. You look down on other women doing their part of the job at tech events, just because it’s not related to tech.

But no, it is not in an insulting way, the aim is to empower.

I think I’m done with this type of condescending feminism.

Go booth babes !

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
