Tournament Highlights
With anticipation following the success of our beta launch event, we were thrilled to witness a strong return of 6,000 participants for our Super Fours Tournament. Users came to both watch the groundbreaking AI technology and actively engage with QBOT, our in-game quizmaster, making predictions and competing fiercely for the $1,000 prize pool.
The tournament was a rollercoaster, offering a thrilling 13-match series. One of the most gripping moments was a tiebreaker between Vishal Prasad and Virat Singh. The tension was palpable, and the outcome saw Usman and Virat emerge as the champions of the event, securing their places in the coveted META11 Fantasy beta Pre-Season Final. The stakes have never been higher, and we can’t wait to see what the finals bring.

The Path Forward
Releasing META11 Fantasy Pre-Season beta has provided us with the opportunity to not only build in the open but also has enabled us to use community feedback as a light to guide our journey. The overwhelmingly positive response is a testament to the potential of META11. But as with all great stories, ours is just beginning. As a result, we are now taking the time to listen to the community to deliver the next round of matches between our finalists Usman Khan and Virat Singh.
Enhancing the user experience
We are in a great position to have been able to deliver not one but two test rounds of META11 Fantasy beta. From a tech perspective, we are thrilled with the performance of our AI brains and our digital athletes have displayed incredible demonstrations of their potential to become true sporting heroes. However, that is not to say we do not recognise our areas for continued improvement on this journey. First, focusing on providing our players with a seamless QBOT experience we are making significant changes including integrating real-time optimization tooling, ensuring that META11 scales both effectively and efficiently. The gaming experience will be enriched with new features, including interactions with QBOT and more opportunities to win rewards.
The Pinnacle of AI Technology
Usman Khan boasts the highest strike rate, showcasing his prowess as a batsman. Even from the first tournament we saw the batting strike rate of Usman Khan has decreased over time for Takunda Moyo and Virat Singh. This may be due to the increase in performance of the bowlers or due to the decline in the batting performance of Usman Khan. Conversely, when facing Usman Khan, Virat Singh’s strike rate has shown a decline over time. This decrease may be a result of either Virat Singh’s declining batting performance or an improvement in Usman Khan’s bowling performance.
Virat Singh’s performance as a bowler has remained relatively consistent over time when assessing it in relation to the batsmen Takunda Moyo and Vishal Prasad. When examining the case of Usman Khan, the runs conceded have decreased over time. This decrease may be a result of either Virat Singh’s enhanced performance as a bowler or Usman Khan’s declining performance as a batsman. Interestingly, according to the data, Virat Singh has managed to consistently maintain the same average.
If you’re one of those keen observers, you might have noticed that Virat Singh has cleaned up Usman Khan twice in our tournaments already. The ever-developing avatars evolve over time and it’s quite possible that we might be witnessing Virat Singh exploiting a very minor chink in the near-invincible Usman Khan.
The further we dive into these players’ strategic gameplay in the arena, the more we understand META11 truly has succeeded in delivering a brand new way for fans to enjoy Games of Skill by leveraging emerging technology.
