About a week ago you may have seen a little announcement about a certain Ethermon approaching…
Now the day is finally here and we can announce the details for our team up with Ethermon!
2 new Mon species have been created for this collaboration: Zip and Nova. The Mons will be released for gameplay in both Ethermon’s browser based game on ethermon.io (revolving around PvP battle ladders tournaments) and on Ethermon’s district and metas throughout Decentraland (PvE).
ALL Metakey-holders will get a chance to claim their very own Nova Ethermon! Nova is also the ONLY Mon in Decentraland that can guide you to Zip, the rare phoenix-like Mon (we will have more info on Zip and how that will work in the future)
But how do we claim Nova?!

You will need to make sure you have a key by Sunday Feb 20, 22:00 UTC — as that is when the Snapshot will be taken.
To claim Nova you just need to follow the below steps:
Step 1: Log into ethermon.io using the same Ethereum address used to store your Metakey.

Step 2: Create your player profile on ethermon.io.

Step 3: Claiming will open to Metakey-holders exclusively starting on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 5 am UTC and ending on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 5 am.
When it’s time to claim, simply sign into your ethermon.io account, click the “Claim” button in the top navigation bar, and select “Nova claim.”
Step 3: Assuming you have a Metakey in your wallet, no further action is needed. Nova will be airdropped into your account on a rolling basis, in the order of claiming.
Please note: The first 20 Mints of Nova will be pre-minted to Ethermon’s giveaway wallet and used in special giveaways.
So don’t forget!! If you want to claim Nova (and thus be in with a chance to earn Zip) you will need to claim by Thursday February 24, 2022 at 5 am UTC
