People who focus on identity politics usually do two things when confronted with incompatible views:

  1. - They take the facile road of using “isms” as a tool to shame you out of a position. It might be effective (out of fear of the social consequences of being labeled a bigot) but it’s eventually going to be damaging to the very people they feel they are defending.
  2. They call out whenever they can’t doxx, hoping it will lead to a dogpile.
