Standards based Web VR

While these developments are exciting and these guys are great, I am surprised that none of these speakers brought up the current ISO web3D standard and X3Dom, the open-source, standards based framework and runtime that is more robust than three.js. It works in the same browser builds as described above and is the standard that broke down walled gardens years ago. I know none of these presenters work outside of tech or hardware, but in real word industries that look to leverage Web3D, WebVR, and SeriousVR standards matter, especially if they already exist. It will be exciting to see how this evolves!
