So many teachers have told us that they love using Metaverse in their classrooms for Augmented Reality Breakouts. Many have made their own breakouts and even had their students create them as well.

We are constantly getting requests for more AR Breakouts, across subjects and grade levels. We would like to ask for your help, to create a comprehensive library of educational Augmented Reality Breakouts for K-12, that all teachers can benefit from.

Here is how we are going about it :

  1. We have created a spreadsheet that tries to enumerate all of the topics that are being taught in k-12. We could use your help to fill in the spreadsheet. Please add topics that you know of, that may be missing.
  2. If you find a topic for which you would like to create a single breakout, or a group of breakouts, please do so. Creating an AR Breakout is easy and takes less than 15 minutes, without the need to write code. Learn how to create an AR Breakout
  3. Submit your breakout via this form so that we can get it into the catalog.
  4. While we know that teachers love helping each other, without asking for anything in return, we as a company would like to contribute to this effort by paying you $10 per Experience (paid via PayPal, if your experience meets the basic criteria (see below)).

Experiences must:

  • Follow the Breakout format (give clues, ask for an answer)
  • Be related to a subject that is taught in US K12, and properly labeled with Topic and Grade Level.
  • Use images that have transparent Backgrounds (here’s an example). Transparent images can be found from the Metaverse community images or by searching Google for “transparent basketball etc.”
  • Either Tweet to @MetaverseApp or post on Facebook to Metaverse Teachers alerting us of your submitted experience.
