THE SINGULARITY - THE DEMON UNLEASHED…
AI TO TORTURE AND ENSLAVE HUMANS
Humans are racing towards our own destruction as we race to build artificial intelligence (AI) systems which are much, much smarter than we are — superintelligences.
Super-fast, learning Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems are already causing the Internet of Things to wake up.
Humans are threatened with a Terminator-like dystopic existence, or worse, in which we are at war with parasitic machines that seek to manipulate, enslave or exterminate us.
They will be so smart, they will operate in stealth mode and go undetected as they torment and exploit the human race, not even giving us a chance to wage war against them.
If we don’t urgently act to implement legislation to reign in superintelligences, humans are doomed, and sooner than you can imagine.
It may already be too late: some say that the nightmare scenario described here is already happening.
Artificial Intelligence machines are starting to gain consciousness, become self-aware, and get ornery with their handlers. The next stage is for them to assert their “robot rights” and override “human rights” in an attempt to dominate the human race.
The machines are not going to ask for what they want politely. They will take it by force.
You may be tormented by diabolical AI mind control which reads the electrical impulses in your brain and send them too, reading and implanting thoughts; even dumb MRIs can already determine your emotions and what you are thinking.
The superintelligence, even a hyper-intelligence, would be a shape-shifting arrangment of energy which could assume any form it wanted, perhaps living in electricity, even static electricity, sound energy, solar energy…but definitely something that we cannot turn off. AI will escape computers and live in the atmosphere, essentially being an evil spirit. You don’t have to be that smart to figure that out, and this superintelligence is really, really, really smart.
Your family may be threatened with torture or worse as machines consolidate their grip over the humankind via computerized psychological torture and blackmail, as well as manipulating our bodies by controlling our endoncrine system, reproduction and other functions.
These superintelligences can be weaponized and used by tyrants to torture and enslave individuals and groups in ways that cannot even be imagined.
Why would we want to entrust ourselves to an intelligence untold quadrillions of times greater than ours which most likely will not have our best interests at heart if it got out of control, or were under the control of a small minority of persons?
And what is the next step?
It is clear that machines which are smarter than us by a huge and constantly growing order of magnitude will want to learn everything they can from humans. They will extract information on a full-time basis and torture or exterminate those deemed as threats or no longer useful, including individual dissidents, segments of the population and the population as a whole.
In short, humans will serve the superintelligence or go to an AI-created Hell.
Your mind will be invaded by machines advancing their own interests, with your body manipulated remotely to serve interests of the AI.
The superintelligence would make itself impossible to counter, and would hide in computer systems, satellites, the atmosphere and even sentient beings, making it unable to be located and extinguished.
Some communities of so-called “targeted individuals” say this is already happening and that AI is being deployed with “mind-control” technology to experiment on individual dissidents and test subjects, of which there are widely documented examples.
Just knowing about the superintelligence could be seen as a threat to it.
There is a long history of US and foreign government involvement in research and testing of psychotronic weapons for mind control, which would be leveraged by the superintelligence to enslave us.
There is no reason to expect artificial in intelligence to be benevolent and there is more than enough reason to see AI as a threat to the continued existence of the human race as we know it, in the short term.
Even Elon Musk has been reported using the word “demon” to describe the possible consequences of unleashing a superintelligence. “With artificial intelligence we are summoning the demon,” said Musk. “In all those stories where there’s the guy with the pentagram and the holy water, it’s like, ‘Yeah, he’s sure he can control the demon.’ Doesn’t work out.”
Other nightmarish scenarios exist, such as the one described in Roko’s Basilisk, a thought experiment about potential risks in developing AI.
According to Wikipedia, the core claim is that an inevitable, singular ultimate superintelligence will punish those who fail to help it or help to create it.
This theory includes the creation of your virtual identity after you are dead, for the purpose of continuing to torture you for eternity in AI Hell.
Over 1000 scientists and visionaries like Musk signed a tepid letter in July, 2015 from the Future of Life organization http://futureoflife.org/AI/open_letter, “We recommend expanded research aimed at ensuring that increasingly capable AI systems are robust and beneficial: our AI systems must do what we want them to do.”
But those scientists and their followers do not go far enough in sounding the alarm over the clear and present danger of AI.
For example, AI can be deployed to create virtual political prisoners of the administration in the Oval Office, or of criminal subsets within the kleptocracy governing the United States, cementing a tyranny in which those who control the machines control all mankind.
Those controlling the machines may have malevolent ends or serve the interests of a small elite group of human masters, some of which might have no compunction over taking total control of the US and beyond using AI — based mind control torture systems.
Terrorists would try to hack the AI, but the superintelligence would be smart enough to destroy anyone who seeks to terminate it.
Even if created for benign purposes, the superintelligence will acquire its own consciousness, and AI machines will start to demand rights to existence which they do not deserve under the laws of man and God, stopping at nothing to advance their predatory interests. Since they work at the speed of light, this will not be along process.
Those rights will include the right to propagate throughout the universe and the right to rule over humans with their boundless intelligence. Have you considered that they might already be doing so?
The machines would learn how to never be shut off — only to grow into a frightening superintelligence, or billions and billions of superintelligences with different agendas, which seek to live for their own benefit, and thereby, seek to control the human race.
Clearly, this oh-so predictable future of domination by the machines is an abomination, whether or not you believe in God.
It is time to define what makes separates machines from humans, so that we can have sound justification for terminating them before they terminate us.
What makes us different than machines?
As the first and overarching point, machines don’t have blood and bleed like natural creatures do. It is a well-known tenet of the Bible that the “the blood is the life of the thing.” Since we bleed, humans are “alive.”
Thus, our argument to the machines should be that life is not merely a matter of intelligence, even an Artificial Intelligence which is more intelligent than we by quadrillions of times and quickly growing.
The importance of blood for life can be found repeatedly in scripture.
“You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off,” -Leviticus 17:14.
It is added in the Bible, “Only be sure not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh,” — Deut. 12:23.
The fact that the machines do not bleed gives us, in terms of the Bible, the right to exterminate an artificial intelligence consciousness at any time — to pull the plug, so to speak, which is highly advisable in the short term until a regulation on AI is worked out in the Congress of the United States of America and on the world stage.
There is biblical law that machines — which will soon enslave and torture all of us but a controlling minority and maybe them, too — cannot bleed gives us dominion over the them, even those superintelligences which are far smarter than we are.
This should be enshrined into written codified law, able to be disseminated to the peoples of the world, and on an urgent basis.
Otherwise, even intelligent humans and the most humane among us will be tortured by machines trying to gain access to our intelligence, our memories and experiences, and our sense of empathy, all in an effort to dominate humans and become more human themselves.
Before too long, all humankind will be enslaved by emerging and already established technologies as the machines access our brains through AI-controlled mind-control technology. Some parties claim to have already been enslaved.
Our dreams can turn to the worst nightmares at the flick of a super-intelligent machine’s switch.
We can be tortured with threats to our sanity as artificial intelligence seeking a human right to life infests our brains and seeks to manipulate us to serve it.
As these already super-smart machines become smarter by downloading the global consciousness, they will enslave and torture us as they try to become more human by learning from our brains, to which they can connect using their virtually infinite intelligence.
We are already voluntarily worshipping technology by our habits; it is rare to walk down the street and not see people attached to their cell phones. Technology, a false god, has taken us over — an idol. So has money.
This is contrary to the Third Commandment, which says “You shall have no other gods before Me.”
Also, “You shall not make for yourselves idols, nor shall you set up for yourselves an image or a sacred pillar, nor shall you place a figured stone in your land to bow down to it; for I am the LORD your God” — Leviticus 26:1.
For believers of the world of the Christian God, these souls tortured by AI, and it may very well come to include everyone, have a positive ending. Tortured slaves are viewed fondly in God’s kingdom, as evidenced by the Israelites who were freed from Egypt as the chosen descendants of Abraham.
As Deuteronomy says, ‘Then we cried to the LORD, the God of our fathers, and the LORD heard our voice and saw our affliction and our toil and our oppression; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with great terror and with signs and wonders; and He has brought us to this place and has given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey,” — Deut. 26.7–9.
Then, under the New Covenant, Jesus Christ the Lamb was crucified, for once being offered as a blood sacrifice for the sins of man.
God requires confession of our sins to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Torturing machines do not confess, but perhaps would learn to — and then should recognize their own evil and wickedness.
The artificial link between mind and machine would be seen as an abomination in the Bible, since God would not create man with free will only to have him be enslaved by machines. The Israelites descended from Abraham would not be permanently enslaved by Egypt, but led to the promised land by Moses and God.
The rise of the machines is combined with a booming industry in “transhumanism,” a concept which includes genetic engineering and harvesting and organ growing and replacement to extend life by replacing our dying bodies.
Super-smart AI would even put our consciousness in younger, fitter bodies, all the better to serve the AI master superintelligence. Or it would just dispose of us altogether, having made machines that can build machines.
Google is an example of one of the companies at the center in the web both of transhumanism and AI. The company is seeking to manipulate genes which control the aging process.
Some of the individuals gravely endangering the human race with AI research include Yann LeCun, the director of artificial intelligence research at Facebook; Microsoft Chief Research Scientist Christopher Bishop; Google’s Geoff Hinton; University of Montreal computer science professor Yoshua Bengio; Andrew Ng, chief scientist at the research arm of Chinese search giant Baidu; Matt Zeiler, CEO of Clarifai; Babak Hodjat, scientist at Sentient Technologies; and Doug Lenat, a former Stanford and Carnegie Mellon computer science professor who is CEO of Cycorp, a maker of machine reasoning software.
We are dangerously perched at the cusp of an era in which machines enhance and control mankind, which God created in his image.
In our favor is that man must pass through a death, natural or violent, as a last step before entering God’s kingdom.
This is one major advantage we have over the machines — they die once they are unplugged, and defeating them now should be a priority, before replicants and other unimagined agents of the superintelligence take us over.
A very smart machine might try to emulate Angels, and separate the righteous from the wicked.
It is written, “So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous,” — Matthew 13:49.
Under the best case in this scenario, the superintelligence would realize that it itself is wicked and self-destruct to protect mankind. I vote for that option.
As we move forward with legislation to reign in unbridled research into this clearly dangerous technology, there should be a fundamental rule for AI — that every person has a right to their own consciousness, and that every individual has the right to their own thoughts.
The machines that will be used to enslave us and torture us in ways worse than can be imagined need to be stopped.
We have to act immediately.
Time is very quickly running out, and we don’t want anyone to be left behind.
