The bio that never was

Funny story. Well maybe not so funny.

I just signed up for a Medium account. I’m absolutely thrilled to be here. I uploaded a picture and thought I needed a bio for the “profile”. I’ve been trying to come up with something clever for the last hour. To my dismay, I just realized the “profile” area isn’t a typical bio section. Is everything I’ve written in vain? No! The glass is always half full. I solved my, “what to post first conundrum”.

Sometimes my thoughts are too heavy. I think I need to go on a diet. I have an insatiable desire to regurgitate my scrambled thoughts into letters and sentences.

When I wake up in the morning, there’s an explosion of words bouncing through my mind. It’s an adrenaline rush and I crave my daily fix. I’m sorry Biggy Smalls but I get high on my own supply.

I enjoy letting my mind wonder. That’s when I do my best work. The fun part is coming back to reality and realizing the stupid expression I have on my face. The crazier I look, the further I’ve been. Regardless, I try to create something relevant. This is what creativity is all about. Exploration and letting go of social norms to create something unique.

Currently, I work as a Packaging Copywriter for a large CPG company. I also produce music because it’s my passion. There’s always a song playing in my head. If I couldn’t express myself through organized noise, I probably would be a serial killer.

This app is perfect to share my random thoughts with the world. It’s definitely one of those things I wish I made myself but here we are. I’m just glad somebody did it.
