Bonobo Monkeys
You may have heard that humans share 98% of their genes with chimpanzees but have you heard of bonobos? Now unlike most chimps, which have a darker side, bonobos have never been known to kill. In addition, tests of bonobos in captivity suggest that they share their food with strangers. So the next time someone says “Why are you so nice?” Just carry on and say, maybe I have something in common with bonobos. Reciprocation does not have to be the only motive in society. The wild is not as savage as we popularize it to be.
