Supporting Team Rubicon

Managing director of securitized products sales at KeyBanc Capital Markets, Inc. in New York City, Michael Corsi is an avid supporter of various charitable and philanthropic organizations in his spare time. Raising money to support first-response teams in the event of emergencies around the world, Michael Corsi also participates in Team Rubicon, which provides disaster relief by utilizing volunteer civilians and veterans alike.
Inspired by the widespread devastation of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Team Rubicon was started by two marines who knew that they had the skills to help. Gathering other veterans together, they collected funds and supplies and flew to Haiti, using their individual skills to help those in need.
Team Rubicon gives back to veterans by offering them a purpose after military life, a sense of community, and self-worth. The team also provides fitness and social events, as well as local service projects, such as removing debris, cleaning out houses or painting houses, among other opportunities. Military veterans are free to volunteer, along with civilians with special skills, such as medical professionals, emergency managers, or current first responders.
