Ulection.com could be added to this list. It’s connecting us with our candidates and elected officials so we have the tools to be involved in our political process from learning who to vote for to influencing public policy. Ulection can even solve the problem in money in politics as candidates now have free access to spread their message directly to the location(s) they are running in without spending money on advertising or media coverage. We plan to add more tools for community organizing (we currently have a first generation Grassroots events feature) and for journalists so that Ulection can become the ultimate social network for civic engagement.
