I am sorry to hear about the pain you’ve been dealing with and I know other women suffer similar conditions; however, I think your reading of Mr. deGrasse’s tweet is off a bit. Your condition, terrible though it is, does not impact the majority of women on earth. If it did, it is likely humans would be extinct or on its way to extinction. I think that was the point of his tweet. Sex and sexuality are necessary not just to the individual, but to the survival of the species. If sex were not pleasurable for the majority, the group probably would cease to exist. This concept does not deny or negate your or other women’s pain.
