That Comcast Xfinity / Netflix deals scares me!! What happens when Comcast gives preference (in regards to speeds, price, and access) to Netflix over other companies? That’s good for the Netflix-lover but bad for competitors.

I know it might seem bad right now, but this is how media consolidation hurts humanity. First it’s just easier to access certain content over others, then it becomes price-prohibitive to access certain content, and then the next thing we know the only content we see is that which has been selected for us by the monopolies .We need competitors to have a healthy capitalistic economy. ESPECIALLY on the Internet having equal access to competitors is important. This is the core of #NetNeutrality.
