yeah. many of us are just lazy. some of us hope it’s possible because we don’t have resources (energy, will, belief in success) for more than a few month’s sprint. at a certain age, being still stuck at point 0 is the biggest and most devastating psyche drain (i know of). it’s so hard to invest anything into attempts hat you already have numerous experiences will fail, either through your own fault or reasons you have no power over. the ability to persevere should probably be the most revered and respected of all, in our society, to send the right signal, explain what’s the most important trait to train since the time of childhood. sadly, it’s not, and so many of us find ourselves realizing this at a point when achieving the actual Living would come few years before death. and that’s an incredibly depressing and demotivating thought that reminds itself to you each second you’re actually trying. at that point, it kind of becomes less damaging to one’s soul to come into terms with persistently shitty situation, than to keep trying and failing to work towards anything more.
