Math class should totally have arts & crafts projects. Math is all throughout art, music and nature, though we don’t often see that in high school math classes.

I wouldn’t want a 4 hour math class to be 4 hours of intense worksheets or book work. That would be pretty torturous. Instead, math teachers would want to think about math more like mathematicians, engaging students in real world problem solving, not just calculations.
