Sword and Scale — An Award-Winning True Crime Podcast

The president of Incongruent Media, Inc., Mike Boudet has developed a number of podcasts, including This Is War and Monstruo. Mike Boudet also created and hosts Sword and Scale, a true crime podcast.

Launched in 2014, Sword and Scale gives the audience a glimpse of the underworld of crime and takes an in-depth look at how the criminal justice system responds to criminal acts. The show covers a variety of criminal acts, including abduction, rape, and murder.

Offering multiple perspectives of each story, Sword and Scale includes witness testimonies, interviews with victims, and even perpetrator accounts. The podcast aims to provide the most realistic account of each crime and give listeners insight into the circumstances surrounding each event.

So far, the creators of Sword and Scale have produced 119 episodes, and the podcast has grown considerably in popularity throughout the country. In 2017 the show won the People’s Choice Podcast Award in the category of Society and Culture.
