It’s a numbers game: in my very unscientific experience, it takes a least a thousand poor to allow for a millionaire — in fact, the middle classes are dwindling because there weren’t enough poor to support the holy myth of market generated riches for the chosen ones.

Besides, if what PG ilk preaches would become true, by those same market laws, so many millionaires would create a regression effect such that only the topmost zillionaires would remain truly powerful…
