I will answer you (kinda disingenuous) questions.
- I’m not saying that.
- The police do not only come when called by the wealthy. They certainly come faster when prompted by the wealthy. I’ll let Chuck D explain more if necessary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPNK0VspQ0
- I don’t know… Sounds like it’d be interesting. Here’s a Time magazine article on the history of the police force and how it’s tied to security and slave fugitive bounty hunters: http://time.com/4779112/police-history-origins/
- “… an ideology that ultimately leads to ethnic cleansing and genocide…” is about fascism as an ideology. It is not about the police, or conservative viewpoints. Unless of course you think those things are fascist. I certainly did not allude to that.
- People specifically wear uniforms to be dehumanized to a degree, or at least de-individualized. The rash of police violence in the US is not the work of random psychopaths. It’s systemic, promoted, and has been going on since the inception of the police force. Abusers are protected by their organizations, governments and legal institutions. Here’s the Washington Posts updating list of shootings and killings by the police:

987 in 2017 and 649 so far in 2018 at the time of this post. As far as I know, there’s no beatings or concussion database so we don’t need to worry about those numbers. - I don’t know where you got the idea that “there is not the faintest chance the US government would go down that path.” The United States is the country that pioneered the ideology and technology that led to the Holocaust. That murdered natives and stole their land before locking them in camps and reservations. That created a society and wealth around skin color based slavery and later at legally propped up caste system of apartheid. The same country that committed horrific experiments on it’s own citizens, continues to fly the flag of a of an organization treasonous criminals who went to war over slavery, refuses to acknowledge its past, and recently managed to vote a known racist, criminal, liar, and reality TV buffoon with known ties to fascists and white supremacists in as President. So not only is it possible, it’s likely closer than many like to admit.
- Disingenuous… Antifa are not communists. Antifa are not anarchists. Antifa, according to the article we’re still speaking under, does not have a political agenda outside of “stop the fascists.” Talk about the tactics all you like, but we are not having a conversation about communism, progressiveism, or even justice. You brought up violent tactics leading to more violence. I said that’s a perfect description of the police. All this talk about perfect societies is very much off the mark. Antifa doesn’t exists for that. They exist to shut down fascists.
- Again.. we are not talking about Communism. If anything, an tactical group that exists to counter the movements of another group is free speech at work. If Antifa wants to shout down Fascists they should be legally obligated to do so. So whether or not Yuri is right, is irrelevant to what Antifa does and how it operates.
- You didn’t even respond to the police doxxing happening in the US. So I’m not sure what this point has to do with our conversation, but I’ll try and respond.
I’m not happy about most things the police do. I respect that their jobs are difficult and necessary, however. As I am not up on this situation or a scholar of British law, I’ve no idea about giving offense and how that works in their country. However, the idea that a woman could feel emboldened to complain about muslim’s praying at a park that has a massive lit Christmas tree every year is the most offensive thing about the story.
