That’s a really interesting point — personally I’ve never tried fasting, but I have heard the benefits of it. I love to exercise early (as pointed out in this piece) and feel significantly stronger/faster when I have food in my belly. Everyone is different though, so if fasting works wonders for you then that’s amazing! The trick is to experiment with various routines and find one that works for you. It sounds like you have done that, so good on you! Keep it up :)
