The Hyde Amendment is a prime example of religion dictating what ordinary citizens can do, even if they don’t share those religious beliefs.

You say you don’t want your tax money being spent on abortions? Fine. I don’t want my tax money being spent on weapons.

You say you’re protecting “unborn babies” by preventing women from getting abortions, but you don’t seem to care about babies who are already here from being ripped apart by American bombs, or by firearms that should only be used for military purposes.

You are a hypocrite.

Keep religion and government separate.
