Hello, reader! By acquiring this text, you’ve displayed a conscious dedication to the art of waking up in the morning. To the untrained mind, one might think that quickly and efficiently executing ones morning routine to be completely random in occurance and dependent solely on luck or a lucky few’s “natural affinity”. These people most likely also believe that the practicioners of said art are overzealous at best and completely obsessed at worst. I say to you now, this book is for that reader, too! A quick glance at any of these tips, tricks and guidelines the find in this text will prove useful in day to day life.

However, to those that are already aware, creating and maintaining a morning routine alleviates mental stress, increases productivity and decreases the energy expended doing so. Consumers of this guide all cited a decrease in their commute time by at least 50% and an increase of emotional positiveness of at least 25%. All by following the simple guidelines in this book! Some of the topics include biological clock training, exercise incorporation and alternative sleeping habits.

It is my earnest wish that the contents of this book not only improve the reader’s morning, but also their entire lives. Big changes have small beginnings and I want to personally thank you, the reader, for allowing me, this book and all involved to be a part of those steps upward.

So the writing prompt for the day was: “Write a Beginner’s Guide to Waking Up In the Morning”. For some reason, the thought of something like that being played out like an old-timey 50s cartoon. So I tried to write that. But I think I ended up sounding more like a Megachurch gospel tape infomercial. Also had a lot of fun making up a university name. THIS IS FICTION, PEOPLE. heh.

P.S.: For those wondering, I try to come up with my own stuff to write about off the top of my head most of the time. But for some of the time I use this book for prompts. I just pick what catches my eye. I’ve had some crazy daydreams with some of these!
