Even if you think Season 1 is a masterpiece (it is,) and Season 2 is complete garbage (it definitely is not,) why would you root against Season 3? Do you not understand the maths, or how it’s much more likely for the showrunners to learn from any mistakes? That lightning might strike again?
Viewers with a flexible and patient intelligence were greatly rewarded by season 2’s end. Though it lacked the magnificent mysticism of season 1, it still offered numerous fantastic moments. It doesn’t get much better than the sequence where McAdams is forced to take ecstasy while going undercover at the millionaire sex orgy.
