100 Days Writing Challenge!
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." - Martin Luther King, Jr.
Now that I notice, it's been long since I wrote, not just on Facebook but generally. For weeks now, it seems I have allowed myself to be robbed, by some challenging situations, of my muse.
It makes me wonder what if these situations came up while I'm out of school, with a boss who has a set of expectations from me, daily, or what if I had addicted fans, or competitive partners? Would I lose my job, or lose my credibility and attractiveness? For challenging situations that will eventually pass?
So, in a bid to create a better me out of the current me, I have chosen to challenge myself. Yes! In this difficult times, I'll be going on a 100-day writing challenge. Simply put, for the next 100 days, I'll be writing daily, and posting here on Facebook.
I could have secretly embarked on this challenge, but if I secretly quit too, midway, who would know? So, publicising this, is in an attempt to make myself accountable to you all. That even when I feel like quitting, remembering the above-a-thousand persons who read this, won't make me do so.
I know, it'll be challenging, stressful, stretching, tasking, and all that. But I also know it'll be revealing, helpful, teaching, fun, and moreso, worth it.
Remember, I'm accountable to you. Yes, you!
Therefore, let the challenge begin!
