Nice piece. Highlighting some important issues in grassroots football and what the German’s do so well compared to England. Their sustained success at the top level is only a testament to that. Grassroots in England could definitely learn from their example. Especially as players such as Iniesta and Xavi are thought to not be “tough” or “big enough” for english football. Yet they are world class.
