Cronos Labs’ Startup “Minted” Launches As First NFT Platform Across Cronos and Ethereum Blockchains
- Incubated by the Cronos Labs, Minted is the first NFT platform to support multi-chain functionality from launch.

August 11th, 2022 — Today, Cronos Labs startup Minted launches its multi-chain NFT platform, allowing users to list, browse and purchase from a library of more than 10 million NFTs across the Ethereum and Cronos blockchains.
At the crossroads of Ethereum and Cosmos ecosystems
As Cronos is the first EVM-compatible chain built on the Cosmos SDK, Minted becomes the first significant NFT platform that sits at the crossroads of the Ethereum and Cosmos ecosystems and brings the world’s top NFT collections to Cosmos. Minted aims to take advantage of this unique positioning to grow and become one of the top NFT platforms overall.
While Ethereum remains the top chain for the highest value collections, Cronos has emerged as the world’s 5th largest EVM chain for mainstream crypto users to experience fast, cheap and eco-friendly transactions. Minted will immediately support both chains upon launch, driving synergies between the two communities.

Mammoth ambitions & value for users
Initially, Minted will support the listing and buying of more than 2,800 collections that have been pre-selected by Minted. The number of available collections will increase rapidly thereafter.
Minted’s platform allows NFT owners to will receive rewards as the Minted network expands via $MTD, the utility token of the protocol. Initially, $MTD will be distributed to early supporters as well as collectors who have listed high-value or high-quality NFTs on Minted. Users will also be able to deposit $MTD into vaults to earn additional yield on it.
Partnership with Crypto.com NFT
Minted, a self-custodial NFT platform, is announcing a commercial partnership with the custodial Crypto.com/NFT launchpad and platform. Every NFT collection launched on Crypto.com/NFT and minted on Cronos, will also be available for secondary trading on Minted.
Upcoming collections
The first collection on Minted, VVS Miner Moles, is being launched by VVS Finance, the leading automated market maker on the Cronos chain. Besides featuring 10,000 cute PFPs (profile pictures), the VVS Miner Moles collection offers valuable utility to its holders, in the form of boosted rewards on the VVS protocol.
