How to Get BIP?

It is possible to receive BIP, the native digital coin of the Minter blockchain network, at an early stage during the Early Access Campaign and through the airdrops. Participants in the Early Access Campaign, which runs until October 31, can become validators, delegators, or coiners. The validator is the one who owns the masternode and buys coins for the initial stake and higher rank in the list of validators. The delegator is the one who delegates BIP to the masternodes. They buy coins to delegate them and receive a reward for participating in the validation. The coiner is the one who uses BIP to issue their own coins or tokens and buys at an early stage to purchase a short ticker and set an initial reserve.

How to Participate

To participate in the Early Access Campaign, it is necessary to pass a verification procedure (KYC), which will ensure compliance with international law. If you enter through a special page for early access on the Minter website, then after entering your e-mail address, you will receive a Telegram Passport verification link:

After clicking on the link from the e-mail, you will be redirected to your Telegram profile and begin the process of creating your single digital ID as part of the KYC (it may take about 10 minutes). You need to enter your name, citizenship, place of residence, national ID card data, and attach a scan of your ID card and your selfie with the ID card in hand. The verification of data inside Telegram (carried out by the compliance company Sum&Substance) will take a couple of minutes. After passing the verification, you will be sent an e-mail with a link to the system. By passing via the link, you will be redirected to the page where you need to choose your status as a validator, delegator, or coiner (depending on the choice, different agreements are signed during registration):

After clicking “Finish Registration,” you will be redirected to the system on the Early Access page:

Now you can become a network participant and request over 1 BTC worth of BIP.

An invitation can also be received from another user (links for sending an invitation are at the bottom of the same page):

Or from one of the authorized pools. For example, from MinterOne:

Thus, both participants of investment pools and those who participate directly can enter the Campaign. By purchasing BIP through pools, the participant receives a bonus.

In Practice

Let us consider the work of the pool on a specific example of MinterOne. To register in the pool, you need to ask for an invite: either via the site, as stated in the screenshot above, or via the Telegram bot. By clicking on the invitation link, you will be redirected to this page:

If you have previously registered on the Early Access Campaign page through the Minter website, you will be notified that this address is already in use. In this case, you can register again (and specifically in this particular pool) by adding “+1” to the e-mail address, e.g., example+1@gmail.com.

If you also registered through another pool, then the option example+1@gmail.com will also be in use. In this case, simply replace “+1” with “+2” (and so on when registering through other pools).

Next, you will have to go through a separate verification procedure within this pool:

After that, a letter with a link for authorization will be sent to your e-mail address. You must enter a name and e-mail (without the “+1”), your country, upload an ID card photo and your selfie with the ID card in hand. Then a message will appear that the system is reviewing your documents. This usually takes a couple of minutes, but it may take up to 24 hours:

Upon completion of the verification, you will receive a letter with the result. If successful, it will say: “CONGRATULATIONS! You have successfully passed the identity checks and can access your Dashboard.” Next, you need to use the link from the e-mail that was sent to you earlier (login link). Now you are in the system. And, just as with registration through the Minter website, you need to choose your status:

After you click on “Finish Registration,” you will be redirected into the system on the Minter Early Access page.

Buying Coins

To buy BIP through the MinterOne pool, you need to access your personal account (via the link from the mail). In this pool, the personal account is, in fact, the home page of the Minter Early Access Campaign, but it will indicate that you have been invited by the MinterOne pool:

Next:

  1. Choose the cryptocurrency you will be using to buy BIP (Bitcoin, Ether, or Litecoin):

2. When you click on the desired cryptocurrency, your personal address will appear for sending coins. Copy it.

3. Go to your external wallet, where you store the currency you have chosen, and send the correct amount to the copied personal address.

4. The coins will be credited to your wallet in Minter after the launch of the main network. After confirmation of the transaction, you will be able to see your balance in the account on the main page of the Early Access Campaign (on the Minter website):

To see, however, how much you bought through a particular BIP pool, you must log in every time by clicking on the link from that very pool (the one that was sent to your e-mail). For example, if you are logged in through the MinterOne pool, you will no longer see your balance in the other pools. And if you logged in via your account created through Minter itself, but you did not buy anything through it (separately), then there will be no information there about your balance.

Airdrops

Airdrops are another way to get BIP at the early stage. About a month after the launch of the main network (scheduled for November 1), a series of airdrops (free distribution of coins) will begin. Preliminary list:

  • The biggest airdrop is for the early users of DeCenter (Russian-speaking), that is for those who followed the channel since its first days (9,500 participants).
  • A general airdrop for DeCenter. This includes channel subscribers, mailings, bots, and so on (200,000 members).
  • Subscribers of the Penthouse channel (30,000 participants).
  • Users of the WOK bot (10,000 members).
  • Members of the private Monster’s Chat (1,000 participants).

Separate airdrops will be held for early users and testers of Minter products, which will be reported separately.
