Gender bias in the technology industry is definitely clear, there have been many factors that play into the reasons behind this as you point out. Another factor I would like to add is the way social media has impacted this problem. Women of power in social media are not often praised and if they are it is because of their body and not because of their fight to success. For example, Zendaya has recently been on my feed and her success is credited to fighting against photoshop. While this is a very concerning issue it does not go into depth of any programs she has sponsored for girls. Now I am aware it does not particularly relate the technology industry but its a problem in gender bias and how social media has affected it.
