At the Dubai Airshow, both Emirates and flydubai presented ambitious fleet expansion plans, showing a commitment to future growth and innovation in the Middle East aviation scene.

Boeing’s Stan Deal hailed the deal, saying the 777–9 and 777–8 are the “perfect airplanes” for Emirates’ development aspirations, with improved environmental performance and unrivaled cargo capability.
The low-cost carrier flydubai outlined its own ambitious goals, broadening its fleet with 30 new Boeing 787–9 Dreamliners. which is noted for its operating efficiency and fuel economy, complements flydubai’s objective of exploring new, longer routes and increasing capacity. With deliveries expected to begin in 2026, flydubai intends to use the Dreamliner’s capabilities to fulfill rising demand and extend its network.
