The Forgotten Virtue of Not Caring

I walk like the world is my runway. If people stare I think to myself “of course they’re staring, I’m FABULOUS”
From being a meek, timid child, afraid of her own shadow, I have developed into a kick ass adult that wants to grab life with both hands and squeezed every last drop of enjoyment out.
I’m a big girl and I break all the fat girl rules – I wear exactly what I want and if you don’t like it? Don’t look!
My children are all musical and can sing like angels. Me? Not so much. I love to sing although I’m very bad at it. My youngest son showed me a meme and said it could have been written for me – “Just because I can’t sing, doesn’t mean I won’t!” Damned straight.
Great, inspiring writing – thank you.
