Far too often I see people frantically running after the bus as it takes off just inches away from their reach. I think to myself how unnecessary that is, to possibly have had your entire day ruined by a mere 30 seconds of bad timing.
Wouldn’t it be cool to have an app that would notify the bus of your existence say within 3 feet or so. This app would allow buses to wait an extra minute when notified. An extra minute would not be too detrimental to the bus schedule if it were to be limited to four a day in your area? Basically first come, first served.
