America always pushed the melting pot concept while allowing certain aspects of a multicultural identity to exist on the edges.

We just need to remind Quebec that New Brunswick is the only officially bilingual province in Canada and French speaking populations that use English as a second language exist in Newfoundland, Ontario and Manitoba. Other nationalities are encouraged to celebrate their traditions and languages.
