Hmmm, where has this type of policy led before???

Ahh yes, institutionalized child sexual abuse in church and government run institutions and orphanages… leading to drug and alcohol abuse, suicide, criminal behaviour, prison… actions that reenforce the narrative that these children are worthless to society. A bit of love and acceptance of these children as individuals that have untapped abilities to dream big dreams and can become more than their past are being denied a chance.

Is every foster home and adoptive family perfect with no risk of child abuse and/or child sexual abuse? No, no matter how perfect the adults may appear they may hide latent tendencies towards abuse and pedophilia while hiding behind extreme religiosity. I understand that many studies have shown that all types of child abuse are almost nonexistent with same sex couples.
