I am a husband, stepfather of two, middle school teacher, assistant principal, and the creator of the Teachers on Fire channel on YouTube.

In 2019, I completed a Master's in Educational Leadership degree that re-ignited my fire for teaching and put me on a new path of learning, professional reflection, and content creation. I'm a firm believer in the growth mindset and advocate often for the kinds of informal professional learning found on social media and in blogs, podcasts, and on Youtube.

When I'm not creating content or spending time with my family, you'll find me hiking, flying my drone, or paddleboarding in the chilly waters of the Pacific northwest.
