It’s like nails on chalkboard when I see a man advertise how horny he is in a public venue.

“I WANT SEX.” Yeah? Get in line buddy!

The little lever on my respect-o-meter went down by a good 40 points. No good ma’ man.

I don’t like be interacted with like I’m a piece of meat or worse — — where I’m expected to conform to his expectations just so he feels better about himself as a man.

I spend time propping ME up first and handling my own sh*t first. Kinda what I expect him to be doing for himself, because you know — that’s what *cough* *cough* real men do.

I’m going to go out on a ledge and even say: Real men don’t need to advertise how horny they are. And as a result, they don’t have women lining up to bow at the alter of affection in exchange for approval.

Instead, real men are attracting women who have their sh*t together.

I wish more women understood they don’t have to give platitudes of any kind to biologically grown males who behave this way. You don’t owe them your time and you don’t need to seek their approval. The man you’re looking for isn’t among them.

OR maybe I’m just reading this all wrong and I’m too old for this shnizzle.

The author is right. There’s been a problem with this for a long time. I don’t have Facebook or Twitter — so I don’t have to deal with the unwanted onslaught. (There’s other places where this happens too.)

I wish more men understood that women aren’t their commodities.
