You used worldwide figures for box office success, and it’s pretty clear that American movie watching isn’t moving the needle on studio’s profits than is overseas success. Having said that, I am surprised that the animated movies didn’t do as well, especially Finding Dory. I guess we Americans wait for it to be released onto Netflix before we make our decision on how good the movie actually is.
