宮本武蔵

Miyamoto Musashi was born on March 12, 1584 in Harima province, Japan. His father from Miyamoto Musashi was also a skilled swordsman who was also quite respected in mainland Japan at that time. Miyamoto Musashi has indeed had a deep interest since childhood to become a Samurai, where he is more concerned with training than doing other things that are more general.

Musashi’s father, Munisai Hirata, died when he was thought to be only 7 years old. After his mother also died, Musashi then joined his maternal uncle. Thus, he was orphaned when Toyotomi Hideyoshi unified Japan in 1590. It is unclear whether his desire to play Kendo was due to his uncle’s influence or to Musashi himself.

Miyamoto Musashi started his duel at a very young age as a Samurai, namely 13 years and started his first duel at that time. After that Miyamoto Musashi started his journey around Japan to become a reliable Samurai. Until the end of his life, Miyamoto Musashi won 60 duels. Most of his enemies are already afraid when they hear his name which makes goosebumps run down their spines.

The sword art he created is Niten Ichi-Ryu, a classic Japanese sword art that uses a combination of two large and small swords in battle, namely generally katana and wakizashi
