Ministry of Awesome has expanded to a new space in Central City. Come check us out!
In an effort to keep up with the growth of this awesome city, we have expanded our office space! We have moved the co-working portion of our business to 192 St. Asaph Street — formerly Shift Culture. In partnership with Haworth by Europlan, we now run a beautiful showroom/co-working space full of amazing people.
Our new space is where Awesome HQ moved. It’s located between Manchester St. and Colombo St. on St. Asaph Street, not far from our last home. We still host space for smaller teams (1–3) and hot-desk space for the community to stop in unplanned and mingle/work. And we still support other venues in the city to host our events.
So what happened to the other spot? Well, it’s called Awesome HQ+ (PLUS!) now and will always be the one of the homes of our humble beginnings (along with the Tradestaff offices just across the street). 208 Madras St. (above former CBD Bar) has become an awesome office space for teams of 5+ employees. It’s an exciting move for Ministry of Awesome and we are delighted to provide more space in Christchurch for budding businesses.
Our new space is GORGEOUS! Full of functional and funky furniture, we are so happy to have more room to contribute to a healthy work environment and company culture. Haworth by Europlan truly believes in workplace wellbeing and functional office space. You may have seen some of their stuff at our old digs and at various other co-working spaces around New Zealand. Our new space will be full of life with social drinks, morning quizzes, shared lunches and jams.
Sure, we miss our old place. It was our first home and will always remain near and dear to us. But it also feels good to provide a new space for growing and scaling companies.
Come by for a visit! We would love to see you, host you, or just chat. Or if you or someone you know is looking for a big office space for your growing team, let us know. Awesome HQ+ awaits!
